Custard Fruit Salad
Serves 4
Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
300ml full-fat milk
4 large egg yolks, beaten
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp vanilla paste
1 tbsp natural sweetener
¼ tsp salt
To serve
Seasonal sliced fruit
Method
In a large glass bowl whisk egg yolks. Add natural sweetener, cornflour and vanilla paste and whisk to combine.
In a saucepan heat and whisk the milk until steaming. Remove from heat.
Gradually whisk into the egg mixture in the glass bowl.
Return to the pan and gently heat until desired thickness.
Serve warm or refrigerate and with seasonal sliced fruit.
