Chocolate Oat and Walnut Biscuits

Serves 8-10

Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup Australian oats

½ cup dark chocolate chips 

1 cup walnut pieces

½ tsp bicarb soda

1½ cups wholemeal flour

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp salt

½ cup buttermilk

¼ cup butter, melted

Method

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blitz until it’s a dough-like consistency.

Roll 2 tablespoons of the dough mixture into ball size, then place them onto the baking tray. 

Use your finger, press to form a rustic biscuit shape. 

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Serve and enjoy.
